Wildfire Paint

Wildfire Paint

Swazzle’s new bilingual, musical puppet show Dream Carver incorporates a 20-by-30-foot backdrop featuring a pastoral Mexican landscape painted by Mia Campagna, lead scenic painter at the Pasadena Playhouse.

During the song “Nothing to Fear,” the backdrop will transform into a fluorescent dreamscape with the aid of invisible Wildfire Paint, the UV luminescent paint preferred by Disney Imagineers. The dreamscape painting will be invisible to the audience until the set is hit with a powerful black light. Then mountains, fields and trees will change into stars and swirls surrounding a massive purple eagle with wings outstretched.
