Mustard Pancakes

I recently saw an episode of this super sweet show and I gotta' tell ya. I love it! It broadcast on Oregon Public Broadcasting and features some of the cutest characters I have ever seen.
I don't know everything about it yet (I haven't programed TiVo to include it--but, I will!). The episode I saw had Courtney (the talented Courtney Campbell--co-creator of the show and it's human star!) going out of town and the emotional journey her leaving sent her friends/pets--the puppet cast on. The puppets are gorgeous and so sweet looking, you're teeth hurt. The performances are wonderful. Oogleberry Ink Dog just breaks your heart in the above mentioned episode. Mr. D is another stand out--an aloof cat with attitude (you know, the usual cat stuff...hey if you saw a sweet and welcoming cat character--you'd wonder what what wrong!).
The cast is just great. Oogleberry Ink Dog and Mr. D are performed by Frank Meschkuleit (my hero!). Tiny Tina Ten Toes is played by Lee Armstrong (yay Lee!), and Mo is played by Trish Leeper (another Fraggle Rock alum). On a weird side note; I have one of practice puppets she built and I LOVE that sucker. Too bad she isn't building them anymore. They were the best!

Cool post! Glad to see someone else who appreciates Mustard Pancakes. The show is super sweet and also is fun for kids. I also like its gentler pace, a change from other shows for kids these days. Plus, finding out that one of the puppets is played by a show I liked as a kid (Fraggle Rock) is really cool! Thanks for that info and this post!
Fraggle Rock was my favorite show growing up too, I had no idea one of the character voices is now playing a role on Mustard Pancakes, which one? Mustard Pancakes is excellent and the only show I allow my children to watch without supervision. It truly is a relaxing feeling to know there are still shows like Mustard Pancakes. Two thumbs up. Great post!!
Actually ALL of the puppeteers are Fraggle Rock Alum! Frank performed inside the Gorg bodies--I think it was Junior Gorg. Trish and Lee both puppeteered on Fraggle Rock as well (I don't think they had "Name" characters tho!).
