Little Leaps Learning System
Leap Frog has released a new game system for infants and toddlers. The "Little Leaps 'Grow-with-me' Learning System" has several games also. The one pictured, "First Steps" has Lulu the Letter Spinning Spider on the cover, in puppet form. I performed this puppet! It was built by 'Images in Motion' (a Sonoma California based puppet company). I just found it at Target this evening and spent the whole night playing the puppet games!
I worked on this last year and have been waiting for ages for it to get into stores. There are cute little plushes of all the puppets; Lulu, Sami Squirrel, Nestor the bird, and BunBun--the bunny. I couldn't find any pictures of them online but, I'll post a pic or two of the ones I brought. You can find them at Walmart.
It was such a pleasure working on this project and I think it turned out great! If you've got a teeny one, or know someone who has one--think of this game system for a great gift!...or at least the plush toys!
p.s. The puppet on the cover isn't some wire filled doll. It's the actual puppet with my hand in it! The cover "beauty shots" were all taken on set with the puppeteers (Lee Armstong, Kamela Portuges, and Mike Wick, and me
