What shows do you offer?
We have three puppet shows available:
Environmental super-hero show Ricky Raccoon and the Green Rangers
Halloween show Monster Menagerie
Holiday show Holiday Extravaganza
How long are your shows?
Our puppet shows are about 35 minutes long. We also offer a brief behind-the-scenes demonstration following the puppet show.
What do your puppet shows cost?
Our puppet shows cost $325.
Do you offer discounts for multiple bookings?
Yes we do.
What ages are your shows designed for?
Our shows are designed for elementary school-aged audiences and their families.
Where do you perform?
We perform puppet shows at venues across Southern California, including libraries, schools, children's museums, festivals, fairs, zoos and more.
Do you offer puppet shows for birthday parties?
At this time we do not offer puppet shows for birthday parties.
How can I book a puppet show?
Start by filling out a puppet show request form. Be sure to include the date and time you are interested in. We will write back to you with our availability.
Who performs your puppet shows?
Swazzle has professional puppeteers on staff, with years of experience. They are specially trained to perform our puppet shows.
Are your puppet shows interactive?
Yes, our puppet shows include fun audience participation.
Where can I see you perform—do you have a theater somewhere?
We don't have a theater, but we do perform regularly. Check out our calendar.
How long does it take you to set everything up and take everything down?
It takes about half an hour to set everything up and about half an hour to strike.
Do you bring your own sound equipment?
Yes, we travel with everything we need for our puppet shows.
What do you need from us to set up?
All we require from any venue is access to power for our sound equipment.
Can you perform outside?
Yes, we can perform both inside and outside as long as there is access to power for our sound equipment.
How large is your puppet stage?
Our puppet stage is about 12 feet across and stands about 7 feet high.
Who builds your puppets?
Swazzle's puppets, sets and props are built by Swazzle co-owners Sean and Patrick Johnson, along with other professional puppet builders at the Swazzle Workshop in Glendale, CA. Our shows are created with pride in the USA.
What kinds of puppets do you use in your shows?
We use a wide range of puppets in our shows, but mostly moving-mouth hand puppets, glove puppets and rod puppets.
Who writes and directs your puppet shows?
Swazzle's shows are all written and directed by our team of trusted collaborators, with Sean and Patrick Johnson performing much of the work themselves.
How do I pay?
We accept checks or cash. Checks should be made out to Swazzle, Inc. You may remit payment to the puppeteer on the day of the show or send a check to Swazzle, Inc. at 4529 San Fernando Rd. Unit A, Glendale, CA 91204.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we carry a $1 million liability insurance policy.
